After driving away from work, I drove straight a river and threw the evidence against Rocco inside and then drove to my home town.
I went straight to the tomb that had both of my parent’s name on it and sat in between it.
“Mom, dad, I am really sorry, I had absolutely no idea of the kind of life you both lived, if I had even the slightest idea, I would have been a better daughter to the both of you. I would have hugged you both every day and always told you how much I loved you. Your life must have so exhausting. I think I can understand you two now.
