ARIANA’S POV Manuel and I struggled to set ourselves free but nothing seemed to be working, the room was getting too hurt, we could barely see ourselves, I was starting to run out of breadth because of the smoke. At this point I could already tell that my life was ending today, the fire was getting hotter and we couldn’t even run for our lives. “Why did you stop” Manuel asked when I stopped struggling to free myself from the chain. “What’s the point, we are eventually going to die and even if we manage to get the chain off, we can’t possibly survive this” “Anna keeps trying” he encouraged everyone before pulling the chain bounding him one more time and it separated from the metal. He ran towards me to help me out, the chain was starting to get too hot and was burning my skin
