I turned to see Ryder Caldwell standing behind me, his jaw set in a hard line. Eyes filled with anger. The cafeteria which was rowdy became calm.
All eyes were on us. I gulped at the way everyone was looking at Ryder who stood by my side his eyes staring at everyone there as if he wanted to squash all of them.
Riley's smirk faltered. "Ryder, this isn't your business."
He stepped forward, placing himself slightly in front of me, his presence commanding. "It became my business the moment you decided to publicly humiliate someone under my protection."
Sienna scoffed, crossing her arms. "Your protection? Since when did she become your charity case?"
Ryder's gaze hardened."Evie is family. And I won't stand by while you try to tear her down."
