Chapter 5 Finn was strong, but even so, his biceps screamed with protest as he battled through the waves. Trent shouted, and Finn darted a look back to the beach. He didn’t understand what was said, only saw flashes of Trent as the waves rocked him up and down. He used the beach as a reference point and tried to remember how far out Brody had been before he disappeared. He blinked through the splashes to his face, wriggled his nose at the burn when he choked on a mouthful and kept going. The yellow board rammed into his side, and he clutched on.
