Brody strolled down the beach with his surfboard tucked under his arm. His blue hoodie hung loose on his hips, and his board shorts rustled with each stride. Finn shot him a reassuring smile, and Brody’s lips twitched. He looked too nervous to smile, and he eyed the sea in front of him with unease.
Reece and Emily spotted him walking down the beach. They separated themselves from their group and rushed to meet him. Finn smiled as they clapped their hands to Brody’s back and ruffled his hair.
