Chapter 8 Finn slung his workout bag onto his shoulder and pushed through the door of his flat. The early morning air did nothing to clear the confusion from his head. The rising sun basked the pavements in burnt orange, the birds tweeted, and the green trees swayed in the gentle breeze. It was a beautiful morning, but Finn couldn’t appreciate it. Brody was on his mind, and he frowned as he jogged the route to the gym. He thought of scenario’s where Brody would have to leave early. There was work, family, friends, lots of reason for him to sneak out in the early hours, but it didn’t explain why he couldn’t have woken Finn or left a note.
