The day past without major incident. Finn had to investigate a ‘jellyfish’ in the sea that turned out to be a plastic bag, and Trent had to bandage up a man’s leg who slipped searching in rock pools. At the odd intervals the sun broke free of the cloud, it was nice, and he and Trent sighed at the warmth, but it wasn’t long before the veil of cloud covered it again. “Could you imagine doing this job in Australia?” Finn bunched his lips. “More sun.” “Pebble free sand.” “BBQ’s.” Trent hummed and smacked his lips together. “Sounds heavenly.” “But then there’s the sharks, real sharks, not Brody’s fictional megalodon.” “I can handle that easy.” Finn rolled his eyes. “What about the crowds, hundreds of people means a hundred more accidents, and we’d have to get out of our chairs more.” “
