Garrett was seriously worried.
After Garrett’s mom came home, saying Taylor’s parents had been happy to see him, Garrett had hoped that meant Taylor would get to talk to his mother.
But now, he thought something must have gone wrong.
He hadn’t been able to get a hold of Taylor all day.
And Nanna hadn’t been able to contact Taylor’s mother, either.
David Forbes had been blocking all contact, and after Nanna’s first call, when he’d told her that Taylor’s mom was unavailable to talk because they were “having trouble with Taylor,” the phoneline had been disconnected.
What’s going on, Taylor? He’d asked himself this over and over again.
So, Garrett wasn’t going to wait any longer.
