When we got to the front of my room, I entered my password and the door opened, "wow, your room door is electric, mine too", Hale said excited,

I really do not care if he was saying the truth or not.

"I do not give a f**k about that", I said and rolled my eyes.

I gestured for him to go in First, I entered and then decided to leave the door wide open.

"Have a seat", I said and pointed at my reading chair,

" thanks", he said and sat down.

"Wow, your room is very beautiful", he said excitedly.

I really do not understand why he seems very excited.

"Is this the first time you have been in my room?" I asked him out of curiosity.

I really do not know if he has been inside my room before or not.

Infact, I have never thought about it.

" No, I have not. Never. This is my first time inside your room. It's cool", he said to me.

"Good to hear, thanks. Let us talk about the reason we are here. Make it quick. Explain yourself", I said to Hale.

"It is really a long and complicated story. I really do not know how and where to start from", he said and looked down.

I really do not know where to start either, I just took in a deep breath and exhaled loudly, I was exhausted.

" Okay, when did this start?" I asked him and hoped he would give me a valid answer, what I want to hear.

"Um, since last week Saturday", he replied,

"Last Saturday?" I asked him and he nodded.

"That is a week now, something serious has been happening for a week now and neither of you informed me about it. Not fair", I said and pouted .

"Am sorry, I thought you already knew about it, that's why I have not been coming around lately, I was scared that you would kick me in the ass", he said and we both burst out laughing.

" Okay, let us keep these jokes aside now. How did it began? "I asked concerned.

" It all started when Ray.... Raymond. Do you even know Raymond? Do you still remember him? He is the boy from high school senior whom you dislike a lot." He asked me to confirm. "

Yes I do. That piece of s**t, that wooing me several times and was always making amorous suggestions. He is f*****g annoying. What a sucker he was", I said to him and sucked my teeth.

"Are you done?" He asked me,

"mmm", I replied to him and nodded.

"Why all these curses? Although, I have begun to see reasons with you. He caused it. I know why you hate him so much. He lured me into this and I was so stupid to have listened to him in the first place. I hate myself for it. I blame myself for going so low and betraying my girl", he said and a tear ran down his cheek.

I did not know what to say, so I remained silent.

I just frowned and pouted.

"Okay, I get it. You f****d up big time. I get it now, okay? You have said it over and over now", I said as I was already losing my patience.

"can you f*****g say it already, you have just wasted five minutes saying one sentence over and over again. Your five minutes are already over, I will just give you a second chance, another five minutes. Just spill it, am all ears", I said to him and prayed that he would just tell me what I want to hear.

"Please, make it ten or twenty", he pleaded with me.

"Whatever, just start", I said to him,but calmly in a relaxed tone.

"Okay, last Saturday, He called me, I mean Raymond", he said to me.

"I f*****g know, can you just f*****g go on?", I said angrily,

I was already angry.

I really do not know if he was doing it on purpose, it was becoming annoying.

"When I picked up, he told me that he wanted me to come over, that he needed me, that it was urgent. I was like, okay, give me some time. I will be there soon. I thought he was joking, he was right about needing my help, but it was not as serious as he made it sound on the phone."

" His younger sister was slightly sick, so he asked me to help her. I left my phone in their living room, then Beth called.He picked it up and told her that I have been at his place since morning and I just got there about an hour or two ago."

" He also told her that I was into his sister and I have been indoors with his sister since I came and does not know what we have been doing. He said he had not been around and was surprised that I was still there ever since he left in the morning and then asked her to come see things for herself."

" In less than ten minutes, Beth got there and caught me opening Ray's younger sister's zip fastener as she was still lying down on her tummy, facing down."

" I was just trying to help her open her zip fastener and leave the room, so that she can do anything she wanted to do."

" I was not going to do anything with her. I swear, she saw wrong, she misunderstood, right?" He asked me as tears were already running down his cheeks.

I just pitied him, he truly loves his girlfriend, my one and only best friend.

"Yes, she misunderstood. She caught you right handed too, right in the act, right?"

I asked him.

I did not know if that question would help resolve the matter at hand right now.

I regretted it the instant I asked it.

"Eh!"

What act are you talking about? I was not f*****g her. I was just helping her open her f*****g zip, did I do anything wrong? Do she think I will stoop so f*****g low to f**k a twelve year old girl?" He asked me angrily.

I think he is regretting coming to me in the first place now.

Ugh!

Am terrible at making peace, right?

" I know you did not do anything wrong. I think it was planned. You were framed or was he trying to blackmail you?" I asked him.

" If I knew, I would not be coming to you for help", he said to me.

"That's true, I hate troubles. So what do we do now?" I asked him, concerned.

"A lot. I will deal with Raymond myself, just help me beg Beth, please. At least, she should hear me out first. She is just too stubborn to deal with."

"The worst part is that she does not want to talk to me, actually, she has not since that day. She avoids me lately, her phone is always switched off. I misses her a lot and it is f*****g driving me nuts and crazy", he said sadly.

"Okay, I will try my very best to talk to her, at least to hear you out, to give you a second chance", I said and hoped he would be satisfied with my choice of words.

"Yes and tell her the situation too. I want you to explain things to her too. Make sure to tell her exactly what I told you, please", he said to me.

I could see it in his eyes that he was sincere, but I still have to ask him to confirm.

What if he was lying to me?

I can't beg or plead on the behalf of a lier.

I cleared my throat and asked, "Are you sure that you are telling me the truth? I mean the truth and nothing but the truth?" I asked him for confirmation.

"I swear with my f*****g life, I am telling you nothing but the f*****g truth. I will never cheat on my girl. I love her with my life", he said, trying to assure me.

"Yeah, I know you love my best friend, but if I should learn that you are lying right now, what should I do?" I asked him, I have to be sure, no mistake wanted.

"I will personally give you a handgun to shoot me on the head, I promise", he said to me.

" You know that I will gladly and happily do it, right?" I asked him mockingly.

"Sure", he replied to me and nodded.

"How about Raymond, hope you are not going to harm him?" I asked him.

"That is none of your f*****g business. It does not f*****g concerning you. It has no f*****g thing to do with you", he assured me in a shocking way.

"Woah, woah. Take it easy on me. Just f*****g leave already", I said to him, I was a little angry and had to calm down and think about it first before trying approaching Lizzy.

"Okay, that is fair enough", he said to me and started walking out of my room.

He stopped when he got to the door, looked over his shoulder and said,

"Thank you so much Eunice, I really mean it", and left before I could even reply, ' you are welcome,Hale.'

I were actually going to say ' f**k off'.

"Whatever", I said under my breath.

I quickly walked to the door and pushed it to close slightly.

I did not want everyone that passes by to have a glimpse of how my room looks, thank God that it is tidy.

I always keep it clean and tidy.

How should I approach Lizzy alone?

I don't even know where and how to start, now I know why it was hard for him to explain.

Ugh!

I hate myself.

She is my best friend and I gotta help her, that is what a best friend is supposed to do,right?

She would have done the same for me if I were the one in her shoes, right?

Or maybe not, I really do not know.

I have never dated before, but I met Hale first, I was not interested in dating back then because we were very young, we were kids.

I have to be quick, but I am thinking slow, very very slow.

I have to reunite them before the party completely comes to an end.

They have to dance together too.

Hale's Beth is very stubborn, how do I go about this?

I sighed deeply, as I was lost in thought.

I have to think hard and bring up an idea, but it is blank upstairs.

There were no ideas coming in.

This is f*****g driving me crazy, I am going crazy.

I laid on my bed and was looking at the ceiling.

The weather was cool, but I was sweating profusely.

This thinking is making me sweat profusely.

I am very tired.

I have to change into something light, and am still on my heels.

I sat up and started humming to Blackpink's latest hit song that was coming from the garden downstairs, tilted, ' ready for love'.

Am their biggest fan too and their fandom is called 'blink'.

Lizzy is not a fan of k pop, but the biggest fan of K dramas.

I unbuckled my shoes and pulled both my feet out at the same time.

I rubbed the back of my feet and felt much better.

"Am sorry Genevieve, this hair has to go", I uttered under my breath and brought down my hair and then tied it up.

I removed my outfit and wore a simple, but short gown.

I was thirsty and hungry too, just then grandma walked into my room in a rush with a glass of coca cola and some of her favorite biscuits, biscotti.

"Hey darling, I have been searching everywhere for you. Hope you are better now?" She said and handed me the glass of cola and the packet of her biscuits and pressed a kiss on my left cheek.

I nodded and said "Thanks grandma, you are the best", and took a sip from the glass.

"You are always welcome, my baby", she slightly tapped my back twice and left.

I just finished eating what grandma gave to me and was about to come out.

I had already shut my door, when Lizzy ran towards me excitedly and asked me, "Guess what?"
