Chapter 2. I AM DOOMED

Maya’s POV

I have been thinking of Arjun since I met him. By now my all friends had known that I do have a crush on him. I made some efforts to know more about him but it seems like he has a closed personality. I even asked his friend, Kartik about his status or any past but nothing was found. I was doomed when I came to know that Arjun was neither interested in any such matters nor will be in a relationship for now. When I told Kartik about my crush, he reacted surprisingly. ”How can you like someone who has such a low personality.” He advised me that I should get over it. He added,”You better get over him cause nothing can happen between you two. Also Arjun has many dreams to accomplish. He thinks relationships are distractions.”

I tried to take Kartik’s advise but I keep curshing on him. He had some kind of effect on me. I react differently when he is around. Though he barely around me as when teacher asked him to collect the notebooks. And of course he was a topper so the teachers were around him and gave him special attention.

Despite having an arrogant personality, he had got many proposals. I was sure that I don’t have any chance. I was thinking too much and Arya noticed it. She lectured me in the Library, “ you should better concentrate on your studies. Think all of this after exams.” Oh no! Wait! EXAMS!!!......actually BOARD EXAMS!....i am dead…!

I realized she was right I should better concentrate on my books rather than him.
