Korra looked at the girl's status with shock on her face. Name: Asta Frost Class: None Race: Human Lvl: 0 Health: 10/10 Mana: 15/15 Exp: 4/10 STR: 6 AGI: 11 INT: 5 STM: 10 WIS: 5 Skills: None 'There's nothing special about this girl! Did I just waste my time?' Korra said in annoyance. She took a second glance at the status window. 'Hmm... These stats.... Even though she's just a level 0, her stats are still pretty high. That's very odd' Korra glanced at Asta who was holding her arm to support her. She looked into Asta's eyes. Asta's eyes widened as she realized that Korra was staring at her. She quickly looked away with a slight blush on her cheeks. Korra was surprised. 'Oh? Could this little girl be infatuated by the original owner? Tch. I'll just kill her. Argh!' Korra flinched. 'Now that I think about it, there's something weird about this girl. I can use her infatuation to my advantage. If there's one thing I learnt from my previous life, it is that to gain loyal followers, just brainwash a couple of children. Right now, this girl is like a puppy without an owner.' Korra smiled, lifted a hand and placed it on Asta's red hair. She begun to caress the hair. 'And I'll make her into my slave dog' Even though Korra thought of these advantages, they were infact excuses. Excuses to hide the fact that the soul of the original Korra had attacked her again. She felt ashamed that as a supreme cultivation demon, she was being surpressed by a dead girl. Asta turned back to face Korra as she caressed her head. 'Korra.... Even though she's seriously injured, she is still trying to comfort me! I feel stupid for thinking that's she's changed.' "Asta, could you help me home?" "What? Oh.. I mean ye- yes" Asta said quietly. She had played with Korra and Rudolf many times, but she had never been invited to their house before. She felt odd, maybe she was thinking too much. ........ Heather was in the kitchen. She was preparing dinner for Zeid and Korra. Zeid had gone of to hunt in the forest. As for Korra, her odd behavior had continued. After breakfast, she left the house all of a sudden saying that she wanted some fresh air. Of course, Heather did not believe her. Her years of experience had her senses on high alert. Creek! The wooden door creeked open. Heather, sensing who it was, spoke out as she turned around. "Oh Korra, you are b-" She stopped mid-way as she saw the scene in front of her. A red haired girl stepped in while holding Korra. Korra had light burn marks on her body. She also had dirt on her body. "Oh my god! What happened?" Heather asked as she rushed to pick up Korra. She grabbed Korra and rushed her to the room. She placed her on the bed and turned to the red haired girl who had followed them up. "What happened?" She asked in a serious tone. The small girl begun to cry. "Hic... hic... Its all my fault! Korra got hurt trying to protect me" Heather's heart tightened. "Don't worry. Korra will be fine" She said. She turned to Korra who was unconscious now. She raised her palms over Korra. Her usually red irises turned snowy white. Monstrous aura exuded from her. Her hands glowed white with ancient energy. "I beseech you goddess, grant your servant divine power to heal all wounds. Fifth grade spell, Divine Heal!" Bright light shined from her hands as Korra's wounds closed up. After a while she stopped. "Phew!" "Mrs. Wolfhead... How is Korra?" Asta asked quietly. "Please, call me Heather. Korra is fine, no need to worry" "Yes aunt Heather" Taking a glance at her daughter, Heather spoke out. "Let's leave her alone for now. She has to rest" "Hmm mm" Asta nodded. ........... The sun shined brightly as if to signify the start of the weekend. Korra sat in her chair with a frown on her face. She was trying to sort out the things she had discovered during the past weeks. Asta stood behind her waiting on her like a maid. Several weeks had passed since the incident with Asta. Korra's parents had made a huge fuss about the thing and wanted to know what had happened. Of course Korra didn't tell them the whole truth. She had also told Asta what to say. During that time, Korra asked her parents if Asta could stay with them. Of course, her parents were sympathetic towards Asta's situation but they were not comfortable with allowing someone they knew nothing about to stay with them. Of course, Korra herself would have preferred to kill Asta. But she decided to train her into her personal assassin. Control her from now and make her completely devoted. She would be one of her greatest weapons. Because of her plans, she decided to use her trump card on her parents. She played the 'i don't have friends and Asta is similar to me' card. Of course her parents still didn't buy that. Finally though, they came to an agreement. Asta would act as a sort of maid to Korra, and in exchange they would take care of her. Asta didn't need to wear any maid outfit since they weren't any sort of rich or aristocratic family. Korra closed her eyes and threw her head back. 'Tch. After all this time I'm finally done. Taking into account what I have discovered, this research was profitable.' Korra begun to recount her discoveries. 'Hmmm.... The way this world works is pretty simple. Humans and every other race gain exp by killing living creatures. When the exp reaches a certain amount, their level rises with their stats. The interesting part is that, exp is actually mana absorbed from the creatures they kill' Apparently, because humans of this world do not have cultivation techniques, they are not able to quickly absorb the mana in the atmosphere. They absorb approximately 0.1 exp worth of mana every 100 years. To balance the lack of cultivation techniques, the universe must have created the system. This allows them to absorb the mana of other living creatures by killing them. When one's level reaches level 10, they are able to unlock their class. Level 20 unlocks the skill tree. As for the higher levels, he didn't know. Also monsters went through evolution.  Evolution changed their very physique and bloodline, becoming a whole different creature. All this information was beneficial to Korra, but the most interesting one was that, she discovered that each level corresponded to a level in the Cultivation realm. To put it into perspective, a level 1 human is equal to the first level of the qi gathering realm. A level 10 would be in the tenth level of the qi gathering realm, while a level 11 will be in the first level of the foundation realm. This made it easier to understand. With this information, Korra tried an experiment which yielded satisfactory results. She tried cultivation. She found out that the more she cultivated and absorbed the mana in the air, the more exp she received. In other words, she can increase her level far faster than any human on the planet. But what disturbed her were hidden class. Some genius people had hidden classes that were monstrous and dangerous. Korra furrowed her brows. She had to start cultivating now!
