Cultvation Continues!

The sun rose up and shined brightly throughout the little village. Korra sat in her bed in the lotus position. She had been cultivating all night. Buckets of sweat dripped down her body and her brows were furrowed in concentration.
After a few minutes she exhaled heavily. Pure unparalleled mana was released from her breath. She slowly opened her eyes. Her clear silver eyes made her beauty comparable to that of her mother's.
Her silver hair seemed to be growing longer while the gold streaks painted the front of her hair. Of course, her chest was especially flat since she was thirteen years. This seemed to piss Korra.
Korra looked at her palm and flexed it a bit.
Swish!
She then immediately closed it with immense speed which caused a strong wind and force to be released.
"Hmm... It seems my level didn't increase anymore. As expected, my cultivation speed is decreasing. Well, it doesn't matter. As someone who has lived a past life, there is one thing I know of. A good foundation is the most important"
She said as she analyzed herself.
In her previous life as Supreme Demon Ren Song, one of the greatest regrets she had was not being patient enough to form a strong foundation. This greatly limited her potential and was one of the leading factors why it took her centuries to be able to ascend.
It was also why the cultivation alliance was able to kill her.
But of course, just because her cultivation speed had decreased did not mean that others were faster than her. The Heaven Crushing Demon Queen technique was a god grade technique after all. It was the very technique that formed the very fabrics of reality. One could only imagine how fast it was.
Not to mention that Korra had the mana absorption skill which further increased her absorption rate.
Korra shook her head to clear her thoughts.

Korra thought as she scanned her stats.
'Hmm... That mana absorption skill, it was created because I engaged in a specific activity. Does it mean that I can gain skills by just engaging in activities? But that makes no sense!'
From what Korra knew of this world, skills could only be gained through five ways. Firstly, one could gain skills through a skill card. That was the most common way to get a skill. This was because skill cards were sold everywhere. One could easily go to a market and buy a low grade skill card.
Another way one could get skills was through the skill tree. The skill tree was the default skill set unique to each class. The skill tree could be unlocked at level 20. It sounded easy, but was infact very difficult.
Only true geniuses leveled up upto level 20. This was because of how difficult it was to kill monsters. The third way was to be taught or be imparted the form of a skill into you by a master. This was hardly done since most people greatly cherished the skills they obtained.
The forth way was through hard work or life and death situations. Some people spontaneously gained powers when in dire situations. One could also work hard and persevere. An example is that, a person who had been training with a sword from a young age might gain the sword mastery beginner skill. The chances of this happening was extremely low though.
The fifth and the hardest way was by gaining a hidden class. Hidden classes were gained by fulfilling certain conditions. The problem was that, nobody knew these conditions since the conditions varied from person to person. Therefore the chances of anyone unlocking a hidden class was equal and low.
The only thing certain about hidden classes was that, once a person unlocked it they would be unstoppable. They would be akin to a god.
These were the only ways Korra knew skills could be gained. As she thought about it more, she suddenly had an epiphany.
"The mana absorption skill came as a result of my cultivation technique. So maybe if I practice other battle techniques then...."
She trailed of as her eyes were filled with glee.
She jumped of her bed quickly and changed into short leather pants and a blouse. She had to check her theory.
She quickly went to Asta's room to pick her up before going to her mother who was in the kitchen.
'I wish I could just kill the woman. Do I even have to ask for permission now?!'
"Korra! What are you doing down here?"
"Mom, can I take Asta out to the market"
"No young lady! You can't just go out like this!"
Korra flinched and raised her hand.
'I just need to swipe my hand and I'll end her'
Heather flinched.
'Was that killing intent just now?'
She turned to look at Korra who was simply smiling.
'I might have imagined it. Maybe I need to rest'
"Sigh. Fine you can go, but make sure to come back in time for lunch!"
"Yes mom!"
She said as she quickly left the house with Asta trailing behind her. After walking for about twenty minutes, they stopped.
Asta spoke up with a shaky voice.
"Errmm... Korra.. Wh- why are we here? This isn't the market"
"Don't worry, I just need to check something out in the forest"
"But- but"
"No need to be scared"
"I'm-i'm not sc-scared... I'm worried about- you"
She stammered shyly.
Korra snickered inwardly.
'Stupid child. She disgusts me'
Korra patted her head and smiled lightly.
"I feel happy that you care about me so much"
As Korra spoke, she wanted to puke from the nonsense she was spouting. Asta blushed and looked down.
Korra turned around and walked into the forest. After walking a little further she found a suitable test material.
"This rock will do"
She turned to Asta.
"Stand back"
Asta nodded and went to stand far away. Korra looked at the rock for sometime.
She searched her memories for a very easy skill she could learn. She easily got one.
"Okay" she said.
She inhaled deeply and walked a few metres away from the rock. She formed a fist such that only her index finger was pointed out.
Her hand shot out towards the rock.
"Sky shattering finger!"
BOOM! BOOM!
As soon as the finger came into contact with the rock, the rock exploded.
Debris flew everywhere while dust hovered in the air. Korra was unfazed by this.
She stood still and called out;

Sky Shattering Finger (E)- Active: Condenses mana into one point of the index finger and releases it in an explosive force.
Korra smiled as she read the last skill.
"As expected. It seems that I can gain skills by simply practicing cultivation battle techniques. Hmm... But learning other battle techniques is not going to be simple"
Korra was a little worried.
Battle techniques were difficult to learn and were even harder to execute. The only reason why Korra was able to instantly use the Sky shattering finger was because of her previous experience and how low grade it was. It was exactly because executing battle techniques was difficult that she wanted skills. Unlike battle techniques, she could use skills just by activating it. That was a huge advantage.
Asta run up to Korra with sparkling eyes.
"Wow! Wow! You are so awesome Korra! Can you teach me to be strong like you?"
Korra turned her attention to Asta.
"Of course. You just have to trust me alright"
"Of course. I will always trust you. Heh heh heh" she said while laughing happily.
ROAR!!!!!
Suddenly a loud and powerful roar reverberated throughout the whole forest. Korra's head snapped to the direction of the roar. She narrowed her eyes.
