Bane rose up from the ground slowly. It seemed like he was disoriented. He looked around in confusion. "Bane, kneel" Korra said in a cool tone. Plop! Bane fell to his knees. He was a few feets away from Korra 'Wh-what? Why did I just do that? Why am I listening to this girl?' "You are probably wondering what is going on with you right? It is nothing serious. From now on you belong to me" "What the f**k are you e-" "Silence" Bane's mouth immediately shut before he could finish his sentence. Mumph! Mmm! Mum! Bane tried to speak but his mouth would not open. He tried to claw his mouth open with his hand, but his mouth stayed shut. Rufus stood at the conner of the room with a horrid expression on his face. He was currently in fear and he watched the show unravel before his eyes. 'Is- is this what she would have done to me if I did not agree to follow her?' "Now, Bane. I will make this easy for you. I am now in control of your body. Obey me, and you will gain untold power and riches, try to defy me and you will face a punishment worse than death!" Korra's golden irises shined brightly as she continued. "Do you understand?" Even though Korra's voice sounded composed, Bane could feel the threat behind it. He simply nodded his head. He had conceded. "Hmm.... Your Blue Wolf Gang is a mercenary group that mainly focuses on assassinations right?" Bane nodded quickly. Korra sighed. "Speak" Swish! Bane took a deep breath. "Yes... Errr-" "Lady Korra" Rufus said. "Yes Lady Korra. My Blue Wolf Gang is one of the best assassination group in this area" "Hmm... I see. Compared to the assassination groups in the other kingdoms and the capital of our kingdom, where would the Blue Wolf Gang rank?" "Errmm" Bane hesitated. "Speak up" "We.... We won't even rank in the top 1000." "What? Are you not useless then?" Korra said in an angry tone. Bane shivered. Korra sighed and relaxed. 'What did I expect from a group that operates in a backwash area like this' Korra sat in thought for a while. The whole tent was silent of course. Asta stood behind Korra. "Okay. Listen carefully. Forget assassinations for now. For the next five years, the Blue Wolf Gang is only going to operate in the buying and selling of information" "Are you saying that you want us to become information brokers?" "Yes. During that time you and your followers will focus on leveling up and becoming stronger." Bane hesitated a bit. "Bu-but, we do not know how to deal in that business. If we stop assassinations now, we will starve and then my people will leave." "Why do you think you can't do it?" "We do not have the skill set for that! Retrieving information is not a walk in the park! It requires specific skills!" "Hooh? That is what you are worried about? Something as measly as a skill set?" "Measly? Lady Korra I mean no disrespect but how can you call skills measly? Information brokers have trained their senses since childhood, they are mostly rangers or higher class assassins!" "I will get you the skills you need!" "Eh?" Bane was confused. Was his new master mad or incompetent? If skills could be provided so easily, then everyone would have a skill wouldn't they? "Come here" Korra motioned with her hand. Bane stood and approached her. "Kneel" He knelt before her again. She placed her index finger one his forehead and poured the information he needed. This information contained a cultivation technique that focused on assassinations and information gather. It was a shadow technique. After Korra was done she sighed heavily. 'At the rate I'm using my abilities, my meridians will break before I can even fix them.' Bane stood in a daze. He had never experienced anything like this before. A bunch of information on how to do some strange things appeared in his mind. Korra staggered up. "I am done here. I'll be going back. No one should look for me or contact me. I'll reach out to you three years from now. Goodbye" She turned around to leave, but then stopped. "Rufus" "Yes, Lady Korra" "Follow me" Without waiting for their response, Korra walked out with Asta following close behind her. When she walked out, she saw the people who had survived the m******e tending to their injuries and trying to salvage what was left of the merchant caravan. People walked about in hurried footsteps. None of them new that Rufus was the one who orchestrated all this incidents. ............. The sun had completely risen and it brightened the environment. Even so, the atmosphere in the Wolfhead residence was tense. Zeid had returned a couple of minutes ago with no sign of Korra. They were extremely worried. Heather had tears in her eyes as she paced around the room in worry. Zeid, however had a more composed expression. Even so, you could tell that worry was evident in his golden irises. After a while Zeid got up and stopped Heather. He wrapped her in his arms. "Calm down honey. I'm sure everything will be alright" "How can you be so sure! My baby! Sniff! Sniff" Knock! Knock! Suddenly a knock rang out. Zeid and Heather looked at each other. She quickly pulled herself out of Zeid's arms and run to the door. She opened it. Standing outside was a tall handsome man. He had only one arm and wore a cloth around an eye. He spotted a beared on his chin. However the thing that stunned Heather the most was that the man was carrying two unconscious girls in his arm. Tears started to spill from Heather's eyes.   She hurriedly pulled the girls out of the man's hand and hugged them to her chest. "Wuuu.... Korra... My baby, what happened to you? Asta.... Sniff!" By this time Zeid was by her side. He watched his wife hug the two unconscious girls with happiness. His eyes snapped towards the man standing in front of their door. He narrowed his eyes at the man. "You... Who the f**k are you? Why did you have my girls?" "I am sorry. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Rufus Corrint. I am the leader of the merchant caravan that settled outside this village" Zeid's eyes widened. "The merchant caravan? I thought it had already left! I came there but there was nothing there." "Yes. A space-time spell was placed on it to keep it hidden. We were going through some....... Renovations" "Ah! I see. But how did you find them?" "The girls? It was the fault of our wizard Sir. Due to his incompetence, the girls mistakenly wandered into the merchant caravan. I am deeply sorry." Zeid assessed the guy curiously. Zeid was a veteran warrior, of course he did not believe anything the man said. Even so he decided to let it go. He did not have the strength nor power to pick a fight with a merchant guild. He was just happy to have his daughter returned to him safe and sound. "I must take my leave now" "Yes, yes. Thank you" Zeid said. "Sure" Heather looked up at the man with tears in her eyes. "Thank you" He simply nodded his head and walked away. .........  Rufus walked away from the Wolfhead residence in stupor. "Hmm.... It seems like the couple don't know what type of monster their daughter is. It is simply unbelievable. Hmm... But something is really strange. I get this tingly feeling from both the man and woman. As if they are beasts that have gone into slumber" Rufus shuddered. "Those girl's parents... Their just as monstrous as she is!"
