Familiarity

The sun rose up to signify the start of a new day. In a particular village outside the human kingdom of Tiarre, a normal wooden house stood still. It had the feel of a village hut but was moderately sophisticated. In one of the bedrooms, a girl with short silver hair and golden strands was sitting in a couch. The girl had a big frown on her face. 'Tch. Why are there only gowns and girly dresses around! I'm not going to wear that s**t' The girl currently had only a white straight dress on.  'I planned to go out and familiarize myself with this world. Even though the knowledge this girl has abounds, it can't make up for experience.' As Korra thought of the information the original owner had, she felt uneasy again. Korra and her family lived in a neglected part of the human continent. Most kids in the villages only learnt the basics of writing and reading, but for some reason Korra's parents were excellent in reading and writing. To the extent where they thought their children greater knowledge. Since Korra and her brother were young when they were being taught, they never saw this as odd. But being the Supreme Demon of the Cultivation world, Ren Song could easily see the gaps. Firstly, Korra's parents were not even from the village even though she and her brother were born there. Her parents had never told them where they were from. Both Zeid and Heather had focused all their efforts on teaching Korra. This was because, their world was a place of power. It was either you had strength or knowledge. Those with strength became either adventurers, knights, or even Paladins. For those with knowledge, if they persevered enough, they could work as scholars in the imperial court. That is what the parents wanted for their daughter. Even though she would never be able to use magic, they wanted her to have a good life. Her brother, Rudolf, on the other hand was different. At the awakening ritual that took place when one reached the age of 16 years, he had proved to be a monster with intense talent. A one in a million years genius that could control light magic. Because of this, he was sent of to the knight academy to become a knight, and most likely a paladin. 'Forget it. Why should I bother about that? The more knowledge the original owner had, the better for me' Knock! Knock! "Come in" Korra's beautiful voice said. 'Damn it! I wish I could get rid of this voice' The door opened to reveal Heather. She walked into the room with grace and finesse. Her huge breasts bounced. Korra narrowed her eyes when she saw this. 'Every minute I spend with her parents, I just grow more suspicious of them. The fierce aura of her father that surpressed me, and the bearing of the mother. Not to mention the talent of her brother and this girl's knowledge. What is the true identity of her parents?' "Korra. I came to check how you were doing. Are you hurt anywhere?" The woman said as she slipped in the couch and hugged her daughter. 'This woman! She dares!' Killing intent oozed out. Bang! 'Argh' His heart pierced with pain again. 'Damn girl! I'll find a way to get rid of you!' "I'm good wom- I mean mom" "You sure?" "..... Yes" "That's good. Come to the living room for breakfast!" "Okay. But errmm... Could I get new clothes?" Heather frowned. "Why?" "These ones are too...... Girly" "But you are a girl." 'I'm not damn it!' Korra thought with frustration. She wanted to pull her hair out. "Errm... Mom.. Ever since I recovered yesterday, I've been feeling restricted in these clothes. Pl- pl- please can I get some leather shorts and top?" Korra almost bit her tongue saying 'please'. 'I, the Supreme Demon Ren Song, am bowing my head to a no name woman! I'll have to kill this woman to erase this disgrace!' Heather looked at her child for a long time, then nodded. "Fine. I'll ask your dad to get you knew clothes the next time he goes to the city." "Thanks mom" "Have you checked your status since you woke up?" Korra shook her head. "I see. You should check it after breakfast. I'm going to prepare the table so get ready" "Yes mom" Heather kissed her child on the forehead and walked out. Korra sighed. 'I've fought thousands of battles, slaughtered nations and destroyed monsters. But none was as tiring as pretending to be a little girl' .......... Heather walked out of the room and shut the door behind her. As soon as the door shut, her eyes turned cold and her expression hardened. 'Something is off. Ever since Korra woke up she's been.... Different. And that killing intent I felt. Where did it come from? Who ever released it is a true monster. The epitome of evil' She shook her head to clear her mind. 'Let's focus. I should be grateful my daughter is better now. Throughout history no one has survived Mana deficiency before' Thinking this, she turned around and headed to the kitchen. ......... After breakfast, Korra went out of the house. Outside the wooden structure was a wooden trench and a little farm. A few metres away from the house was their neighbor's house. Korra decided to take a walk to familiarize herself with her new world. As she was walking she called out 'status' in her mind. A blue hoovering screen appeared in front of her. Name: Korra Wolfhead Class: None Lvl: 0 Health: 10/10 Mana: 0/0 Exp: 0/10 STR: 3 AGI: 4 INT: 1 STM: 1 WIS: 200(16+184) [STR- Strength, AGI- Agility, INT- Intelligence, STM- Stamina, Wis- Wisdom] Skills: Eyes of the Gods; A skill imbedded in your soul. It seems to be not of this world. God sense: Unknown Korra looked at the screen. 'The average stat for a person is 10. Normally by this age, the average human would be a Lvl 1. Well, it is not that shocking, considering this is a sickly body. Until I begin to cultivate the Divine Overbearing Primal God technique, this body is more of a curse than a blessing. Hmm... also why does my wisdom stat have two different numbers. Wait! Does it represent both my and the girl's knowledge?' As she scanned the screen, her eyes landed on 'skills'. Seeing the skills, she was shocked to the core. 'What? My eyes of the gods followed me here? Just like the God sense. Hmm... I think I get it. Every soul ability followed me here. Well that's good for me! With eyes of the gods, I can easily appraise anything.' At this moment, Korra was extremely happy. She put her finger on her chin as she begun to make plans. "AAAAHHHH!" A young childish female voice screamed. Korra, who was walking on a path turned her head to the direction of the scream. The scream came from the outskirts of the woods that was near the village. "Hmm?" Korra said as she saw the scene.
