Sam's pov

I didn't even wait for class to be over, nor did I wait for the teacher to allow me to leave. I gathered my things and just walked out of class. No way was I going to sit there any longer, I was losing my mind. The teacher didn't even look in my direction as I left the classroom. With one last look at Hunter I darted out of the classroom and out of the school building. I walked to the forestry edge of the school property to just relax. I needed to be far away from hunters scent right now and due to having a whole five more hours left of school this was as far as I could go currently. I put my stuff down and sit against the trunk of a huge walnut tree.

I breathe deeply, inhaling the fresh air, clearing my nose of his scent. I closed my eyes. Imagining I was at the coast. Sun hitting my skin, as it barely shines through the clouds. The slight breeze blowing my hair just slightly. Mist from the ocean waves gently caressing my face. The sand beneath me, gritty but also warm and soft. The smell of salt water mixed with the smallest hint of fish, it's a refreshing smell. My favorite place to be.

"It would be better with mate… his arms wrapped around us from behind, his soft lips pressed to ours, slowly making his way down…" I moan slightly at the words my wolf is saying before I block her out and scream loudly. I can't let her or him get to me. We have levi and we love levi!

I hear the bell ring letting students know the first period is over. I got up and sprinted to the building to find levi. He was exactly where I predicted him to be. Beating up on Hunter. My wolf growled in my head that she wanted us to stop Levi but I didn't care.

I walked up to Levi, I heard Hunter's heart skip a beat as I pulled Levi away. I wonder if Hunter thought I was coming to help him. Was I though? No, I just wanted my boyfriend's attention. I looked down at Hunter's pitiful beaten body, smirking. I waited until he looked up to me before crashing my lips to Levis. Once Levi opened his mouth I invaded it with my tongue tasting him and moaning as the kiss deepened. I could feel Hunter watching, I knew as his mate it hurt him, but I continued the kiss anyways.

Finally Levi pulled away both of us panting. "Why…uh….why don't we skip the next period and finish this?" He said with a grin. A wetness spilled between my thighs. I knew that everyone near us could smell my new arousal, I blushed and lowered my head nodding to levi. It was at this moment I felt him ripped away from me as growls filled the hallway. I looked to see Hunter tearing into levi, he had levi pinned to the ground and was punching his face. All I saw was the blood spilling from Levi's face. I was frozen in place

HUNTERS POV

Sam left class without a word. Felix howled in my head for me to follow but I already knew she didn't want me anywhere near her. So as I sat in class, waiting for the dismissal bell I decided I'd save myself the heart ache and reject her today after school… If I could find her. After what happened in the hallway she was probably long gone from school.

Forty-five minutes later the bell rang and I jumped up from my seat walking out of class. I walked to my locker to grab my stuff for my next class. As I turn the corner to my locker, a very heavy surface meets my face. LEVI! I only knew it was Levi when I heard him laughing with the rest of the jocks. Blood was dripping from my nose.

"Can you please just go. I have to talk with my mate later and I'd really appreciate the ability to talk and look decent" I mutter in a lower tone.

"Aww isn't that cute orphan Annie thinks he's got a mate" Levi laughs. He sounds almost crazy

"It's not cute, and she's real, her name is sam!" I shout clenching my fists. All of a sudden the jocks get quiet and Levi steps forward. I gulp audibly.

"As in my Sam? You think your pathetic a** is mated to my perfect Sam?"

"I don't think I know!" I growled through gritted teeth.

This was a bad idea. I should have kept my mouth shut! The next few minutes were a blur as fists flew at my face, and feet kicked at me. I was f***ed. They knocked me to the ground and I got into the fetal position and tried my hardest to protect my face, which only helped a bit. An eternity went by and by this point I was wishing death would take hold and take me away. Please just let this beating be over, it was so much worse than any other I had received to this day. It was at this moment, where I felt my weakest when I got a sniff of her scent again. If I am to die at least it is with her scent filling my nose. Suddenly my beating stops, I can feel her looking at me. Her eyes burned into my beaten body. I look up just as she smirks and kisses Levi. she deepens the kiss and moans her hands tangled in his hair. His hands caressing her body.

Finally Levi pulled away both of us panting. "Why…uh….why don't we skip the next period and finish this?" He said with a grin

“MINE!” Felix yells in my head as he takes over and tackles Levi. he has taken over. I am not watching from the back of my mind as Felix dishes out punch after punch to Levi. He is bleeding pretty bad.

“Felix stop before you kill him '' I whisper to him trying to get him to let up on his beating so we don't get into too much trouble. Felix paused briefly to look around at the crowd that had gathered around us. We were going to be in so much trouble. Felix turned back to Levi, raising our fist to strike again when a scent caught his attention. Like Sam`s scent this was overpowering, it was the smell of cucumbers with lemon and mint. It was refreshing and sweet. Felix looked around anxiously.

“What is that?” I ask

“MATE!?!” Felix answered in a questioning tone.

Felix sniffed the air again; the scent of raspberries and vanilla was still there, but not as potent as this new smell. Is it even possible to have two mates? Could it really be a second mate? This has to be a mistake, I know the moon goddess does not make mistakes but this…two mates, how? Felix stands up and gives me back control of our body. “Follow it” he whispers as he retreats calmly to the back of my head. I listen to him and follow this new amazing scent. Leaving Sam sobbing over Levi's very badly beaten body.
