Kevin held his zune. He loved zunes. They were way cooler than iPods. A gentle, yet soothing melody played in his headphones, and he tilted his head from left to right as he listened. The shuttle didn’t take too long to reach the asteroid. And Kevin had a lot of work to do. He couldn’t let Frank show him up. Geologists may know rocks, but paleontologists knew how to dig. Bones were down deep, as were the minerals the Ghost needed. Kevin could dig it. When they arrived on the asteroid, Kevin was the first to get off the shuttle. He had his scanner in his hands as he stepped off. There was no time to waste. He immediately scanned the perimeter, and began placing colored flags in the ground for what type of mineral lay underneath. He saw Yort already setting up the drilling kits behind him.
