Chapter Eight
Daniel scanned his eyes over the screen in front of him. He glanced over to Shawn. If he wore glasses, he’d push them up his nose, but he didn’t wear glasses, so he didn’t push anything up his nose.
“Are you getting the same readings I am?” Daniel asked.
Shawn blinked at Daniel. “Do you think I have a different computer than you?”
Daniel shrugged. “I wouldn’t be sure. I’m sure you’re hiding a game of asteroids on your computer.”
“It’s not asteroids. It’s Space Invaders. So much more fun.”
“Well, you got me there. I do like Space Invaders more,” Daniel admitted.
“So, what were we talking about?”
“The seventh planet. It looks to have enough oxygen for life,” Daniel said. “I’m not getting any initial readings though.”
