Chapter Nine
The shuttle hatch opened and Ben stepped outside. He reached for his cloak and draped it around himself. The planet was cold. It wasn’t unbearable, but it was like visiting Canada in the winter, except without the snow. And he was sure the people weren’t quite as nice.
Jasmine stepped off the shuttle after him, followed by Ned and Kyle.
Ben watched as the remaining people exited the shuttle, including Frank, Shronan, and an additional three security officers. Daniel wasn’t lying to Jasmine when he said he’d provide five security officers. The shuttle was a bit overloaded. Normally, they only occupied a maximum of five people.
Frank wore a black t-shirt with white letters.

Ben rolled his eyes.
“Is everyone ready?” Ben asked.
Everyone nodded.
