Chapter Sixteen
Daniel stood behind Kevin in the Science Lab. Kevin had two monitors up, one with pictures from the academy database and the other from the recent pictures.
“Well?” Daniel asked. “What do you think. Are they the same?”
Kevin looked over the pictures of dinosaurs Ben had transferred to the Ghost against the illustrations the academy had. The triceratops looked very close, but there were slight variations.
“It’s hard to tell. One is an image, but the other is an illustration. No matter how good, the illustration is still a best guess. We only have the bones to go off of, so any skin abnormalities, cartilage, or anything else that would decompose over time won’t show up on the illustrations unless the artist takes it upon themselves to use a creative license.”
