Chapter Eighteen
Daniel laid down on his bed. His head hit his pillow, and he almost instantly fell asleep. Then his watch beeped.
Groaning, he pressed his watch and saw Jason appear on the screen.
“Jason...what do I owe this pleasure?”
“I’m sorry, Captain. Did I disturb you?”
“Yes.” Daniel yawned.
“Are you wearing a nightcap?”
“Of course. It keeps the conditioner in my hair.”
Jason blinked. “And why does the nightcap have yellow ducks on it?”
“Is there a reason you’re disturbing me in bed?” Daniel asked.
“We found fossils on 24735-4-B.”
“Fossils?” Daniel asked.
“We can’t be sure, as we used the nanobots from our probes, but they look like they could be dinosaurs fossils.”
Daniel grinned. “Brilliant.”
“I’ll leave you to your sleep,” Jason said.
