Chapter Nineteen Jasmine looked at the dinosaur egg under the ultraviolet light. She tried to see what she could make out of it, but the clear thing was, something was inside of it. And it was alive. She was beyond giddy at the prospect of a live dinosaur. She compared her findings with that of bird and reptile eggs. There was several reports of each, though the sample size was much smaller. Or at least, the eggs were a lot smaller. The closest egg in comparison was an ostrich egg, but the dinosaur egg was still at least five times the size. Jasmine did as many non-invasive tests as she could on the egg, and as far as she could tell, the dinosaur was eighteen pounds, and would hatch in less than week. “We need to get back to the ship before the egg hatches,” Jasmine said.
