MEGAN'S POV I can feel eyes on us. Not just a few curious glances, but actual stares from the remaining guests scattered around the venue, their conversations dropping to low murmurs as they look our way. "Is that Alpha Xarion Luther?" "What's he doing there with Megan Pierce?" "I thought they were divorced…" The whispers travel through the room, and I catch bits of curiosity and gossip.
