XARION'S POV
Alpha Elias's eyes narrow and I can see the hostility coming off him now. He doesn't like me. That much is clear.
And I'm guessing it's because of Vance.
He's protective of Megan, and he clearly wants her with his son.
But that's not happening. Not if I have anything to say about it.
"Megan," Alpha Elias says, his voice softening as he turns to her. "Do you want him to take you home?"
Megan doesn't respond. She's barely conscious now, her head resting against my chest, her breathing slow and shallow.
Alpha Aaron steps in, his tone diplomatic. "Alpha Elias, I think it's best if Alpha Xarion takes her. She's clearly not in a state to make decisions right now, and he's already holding her. Let's not make this more complicated than it needs to be."
