XARION'S POV I always knew Andrew was good at convincing people, but when he told me yesterday that Megan had agreed to meet with me today, a part of me didn’t believe it. Maybe I was afraid to hope. Maybe I didn’t want to set myself up for disappointment. But here I am, sitting in a secluded corner of a private hotel lounge, waiting for her.
