"So the steel framework should be delivered by next week?" I ask Caitlin as we walk through the aisles of Prime Build Supply, one of Arkon's largest commercial buildings for construction materials and general supplies.
Caitlin nods, flipping through her tablet. "Yes, ma'am. I've confirmed with the supplier. They're also throwing in a discount since we're ordering in bulk for the branch construction."
"Good," I say, satisfied. "And the permits?"
"All cleared," she replies with a smile. "The Valemont sponsorship deal really opened doors for us. The council's been very cooperative."
I can't help but feel a hint of pride.
Winning that deal was a major milestone, and now things are finally moving forward. The new Stone Corporations regional branch is becoming a reality.
