MEGAN'S POV My driver pulls up right outside Xarion's company building, and I'm already unbuckling my seatbelt before the car even fully stops. My heart's pounding, my mind's racing, and I have no idea what I'm going to say when I see him. But I need answers. I need to understand why he bankrupted Venita's company. I step out of the car, smoothing down the front of my blouse as I survey the entrance. And that's when I see him. Talk about perfect timing. Xarion. He's standing just outside the building with Andrew and another man I don't recognize, all three of them dressed impeccably in business suits, clearly in the middle of a conversation. They look like they're about to head somewhere, probably some important meeting or business deal. But I don't care. I need to move. Now.
