MEGAN'S POV I hesitate, my mind racing. No. Four years ago, Xarion wouldn't have done any of those things. Four years ago, he pushed me away. He told me to get rid of our children. He chose Danielle over me without a second thought. But now… Now he's different. And as much as I hate to admit it, Dad's right. "That doesn't mean I have to forgive him," I mutter, my voice quieter now. "No, it doesn't," Dad agrees.
