CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE
A strange quiet came over Wervon Square. Toluk could be seen getting up. Blood was still dripping from the stub of his finger but it was now bound with cloth. He looked down at his severed finger and the broken ring beside it.
“Thank you,” he said to Roubar.
“What?” said one of his bodyguard.
“I was under the power of that ring. These people have freed me from its evil influence. Asperia can now be properly free!” said Toluk.
“So what should we do with these prisoners?” said the bodyguard.
“Bring them to the Castle. As guests, not prisoners,” said Toluk.
With that the bodyguard stopped restraining Roubar, Asomorph, Iolo and Krolith. They were asked to come to the Castle. Out of politeness they accepted.
“How did you know that I was possessed?” said Toluk
