CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN Roubar and Krolith had little trouble convincing Asomorph to take them to Ridon. Asomorph was glad of the offer to stay if they completed this mission, and very pleased to have something for him and his men to do. Going aboard one of the Barbarian ships it became clear how many Barbarians had been lost. Asomorph had to leave most of his ships in Asperia, just to create one properly crewed vessel for the long voyage to Ridon. Toluk had kindly provided a navigator to help direct the ship to Ridon; neither Toluk nor Roubar trusted the Barbarians to use the charts to reach that far-off land.
