CHAPTER THIRTY In Hadon, no one apart from Lorimor, knew their way around. The people of Hadon hated Asperia; in the days of the Great Asperian empire they had been enslaved. The actual level of oppression had long been debated by historians, but the populace of Hadon maintained a set of stories of Asperians eating their babies and generally making them do degrading acts out of spite, while the Asperian version tells of a happy people helped to develop through Asperian assistance.
