CHAPTER SEVEN
In Block G, Kolan and Madeleine had to take turns on guard to make sure they were not attacked while they slept. Unlike the other cell blocks, the overwhelmingly criminal and violent inmates in Cell Block G meant that they were almost continuously in one fight or another. Madeleine and Kolan were glad of each other’s presence but both were exhausted.
After about a week in the prison, Madeleine spotted a small Dwarf being attacked by several Trolls. It was one of the very few times she and Kolan were not being attacked themselves. Something about the Dwarf caught her attention: he looked really out of place in this block. He seemed to have quite a few belongings that the Trolls were interested in.
