CHAPTER SIXTEEN
Nicely hidden at the far end of the cell block, Larros began tunnelling following Klinto’s written instructions. Firstly he needed to tunnel down under the first death block. This he did with surprising speed. Roubar, who was nearby keeping an eye on the guards, was impressed by Larros’s speed and skill as a tunneller. Larros then proceeded to start tunnelling around the second death block. This required digging around the left hand side rather than underneath. Again, this took Larros very little time. In fact, if anything, he seemed to be speeding up. Roubar did feel the Gnome was showing off a little. Kolan and Hilary were helping carry away and dispose of the chippings from the wall. A white sheet was prepared that could be draped over the wall if necessary.
