CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN
As Malcolm walked through the portal he suddenly became aware that the wizard he had seen with the two Dark Ogres was still in the same cavern. Thankfully they seemed preoccupied with something on the wall and didn’t notice him. Malcolm, in a panic, looked around. He was behind one of the waterfalls in the Nile Falls. He could see and feel the water cascading down nearby. Forgetting Jonub’s advice, he hopped rather than flew through the waterfall.
Malcolm felt himself being dragged down with the power of the gushing water and hit the rocks at the bottom. He only just managed to drag himself out on to a sandy bank by the waterfall; he was badly injured by the fall, his wings and head bleeding.
