~NYRA Rylan refused to let go of me as we hiked through the woods. "Are you tired?" He asked softly. I shook my head in response even if I was indeed tired. I did not want to be a burden to him or put him in trouble with his brothers. Yet he sighed and swiftly picked me off the ground. I gasped. "Isn't this going to be inconvenient for you? I can walk." Rylan paid no attention to my words. He left me in his arms and kept walking. "It's good that you're carrying her. We can't keep walking. We need to run," Sylver suddenly announced. "One question though, are we going back home or to the mall?" Cassian asked as he turned to face his leading brother. My heart skipped at that moment because I knew that if we were to go home immediately, we would have to explain to Ried what happened.
