Decision
Bar closed the communications link and discovered her hands were shaking. The sound of complete defeat was something she never thought she"d hear coming from Cutler. Even now after their brief conversation, Bar found it difficult to believe what had happened. Yet, in the back of her mind, she realized she had been expecting something like this to happen. David Fellowes may have been determined, intelligent, and capable, but he was also human, and that"s where his fault lay. He was a prime and vulnerable target, but Bar knew no amount of warning or threats would have stopped him from going with Cutler.
