Chapter 9 Probation Bar silently watched as David helped Cutler get comfortable in the only other chair available in the office besides the plush one behind the desk. Taking the cane, he propped it against the desk and took his place at Cutler’s back. He could see Bar’s reaction to his actions, but the woman managed to keep her emotions from showing.
