Package
It was nearly closing time when she reached the post office in Burlington. Finding a two-day priority box that was the right size, she stuffed the Mylar bag of inert jewels into it and sealed the package shut. After adding the mailing address on top, she took it over to the counter. The postal employee gave her a weary smile.
"Anything liquid, fragile, perishable, or hazardous inside?"
"Nope. Just some neat rocks I found that I promised to send a friend. I"d rather ship them than try to stuff them in my luggage. Know what I mean?"
"I understand. Plus there"s a weight limit on luggage, too."
"When can I expect them to get there?"
