Safety
Cutler stared at the man standing in the doorway, then pointed to the bathroom to his left. The physician peered inside the tiny alcove, but he didn"t seem surprised to see the mess. Seconds later two more people dressed in scrubs showed up. They had a gurney with them. Dr. Logan stepped aside to let them enter. As they passed him, he grabbed something from the mattress pad and tossed it Cutler.
“Take off those bloody clothes and stuff them in the pillowcase under his head.”
Cutler silently obeyed, hurrying to shed her jeans and blouse, and pulling on the set of scrubs thrown at her. If the two interns noticed she wore no undergarments, they didn"t comment.
