Chapter 36 Interrogation Bar drummed her fingers on her desk. It was a habit she"d developed when she needed to think. It was either that or get up and pace in front of her window. What she really wanted to do was run screaming down the street in anger, frustration, and fear. Instead, she was reduced to tapping out a steady rhythm on glass. Getting to her feet, she left the office and went into the apartment. Pushing open the door to the bedroom, she peered inside. The only light source came from the IV pump.
