Ellie  I didn’t remember falling asleep or how I got back to the hotel. It was the first morning I had woken up in my room since the second or third night of my trip. It was also the first night that nothing had happened and that I had woken up alone. A knock at my door pulled me out of bed more than the sun or my alarm.
