DJ  Man, I was a d**k. I made it all of two minutes up the road before turning around and following her to her new place. I needed time to calm down, to think. Even more so after seeing the absolute hovel she had bought, lost in some bog. The area was amazing—one of the ones I had advised Ellie to look at on the few outings we actually had for her work. A hidden gem with as many local resources as tourist spots. I didn’t know this area as well as others, and I was more than aware that I had ignored her limits.
