Brute from hell

411 Words
About 5 months had passed since the first wave, 5 months that Fyodor and Lucio had been spending creating weapons and a shelter, and had been looking for food. They still don't know about the Troten family, or the deal. Although they do know about a terrifying monster, far worse than the rain, that Helena had brought. A gigantic, 300 foot hybrid beast. It's body was built like a goat, with very long piercing legs. and a smashed in head. His howl's could reach miles and miles away. It's eyes were stolen by Helena, and his horns stuck out like tails. This monster was created for Helena's enjoyment, by her own two hands. He was named Varil, and his purpose was to find children, needing their young hearts and long lives ahead. He was a beast of abyss. During the first howl, the ground trembled, and Lucio told Fyodor to not worry. They were tying ropes for this occasion, to hold things in place so they don't fall or get damaged during the other howls. At the second howl, the ground shook amazingly, and Fyodor had to hold on to a half-assed table to not fall over. Varil began to run as he got very frightened by the echo of his own voice, and made the ground shake more. Helena called him over while standing on top of the building to face him, as she got very annoyed, and told him to stay quiet, as she is busy working on something. How much power could she have to hold it right above his head. The answer that truly interested Fyodor was whether they could kill him with the gas or not, to which Lucio explained that for something that huge they'd need tons of it. The monster went back to the city looking for something to destroy, as if he'd enjoy it. He rolled some buildings around until they collapsed into mounting and rocks. If he's going to be guarding Helena, the chances to attack her got slimer. Lucio went through the city, looking for more useful things and he found a huge canister of food, that seemed very convenient, right under a building, that had been overrun by giant unkept plants, since no one was around to kill them. He noticed how much nature had began to take over everything. He found a route for Fyodor, so he can get there and take the stuff, so that Varil wouldn't see. When he got back Fyodor had tied everything nicely, but practically easy to use.
