Ben had never kissed a woman the way he kissed Rae. He’d only kissed one other girl and she was nowhere near Rae’s caliber. And he’d never been kissed back with quite so much passion. She ran her fingers down the back of his neck, eliciting a shiver from him, and kept on kissing him. He wasn’t sure how to stop, or when. He knew she tasted like sugar, something so addicting he couldn’t give her up now even if he’d wanted to. And he certainly didn’t want to. The connection between them eventually lapsed, and Ben kept his eyes closed as Rae tucked herself into his chest. He held her, enjoying that as much as kissing her. Well, maybe not quite as much. A feeling of comfort and peace flowed through him, and he thought life couldn’t get any better than standing in her kitchen after a kiss. q
