Right after they walked out of the flower house, Edie shook off Aaron’s hand. She didn’t want to go with him.
“Are you here to help me or see how pitiful I am?”
Edie’s face was calm, she didn’t show any sign of weakness as he had imagined.
Before he came, he thought she would be crying hard, and her eyes would be swollen like walnuts. But before he even walked into the flower house, he heard Edie’s cold and unyielding voice. He knew that Edie would not be easily bullied.
This is why he likes her!
He raised his eyebrow and jokingly said, “You’re not worried that I’m here to look for trouble?”
Edie pursed her lips and said, “Stuart has forgotten about me. Even if you kidnap me, he will not take any action. You’re so smart, you won’t do useless work.”
