One Year Later,
A year has passed since I learned the truth about what happened to Parker. Unfortunately, he met a tragic end while returning to France.
It's still unknown what happened to him or if he's still alive. However, I am still holding out hope that he will return home to me.
I'm still waiting for the day he comes back to me. When that day comes, I'll welcome him with open arms and lots of love.
I drew a deep breath and clung desperately to my winter coat as the temperatures plummeted. I draped every window and pulled every blind closed. Afterward, I went back to my bedroom to catch up on some online news. Hoping that I could find something about him in the news.
It's been a year, but I haven't heard from him. Will he still come back to me?
