Two officers who were about to release Fred froze when they heard those words. They glanced at the head officer, then at Ida, not daring to utter a word. They knew very well that one of them being the head of the bureau and the other having significant background.
"Fine! Ida, I'm going to talk with your mentor." The head officer pointed at Ida, breathing heavily.
"Whatever." Ida walked out of the interrogation room. Her voice echoed outside, "Keep an eye on him. If anyone escapes today, you'll be punished by law!"
