We were in Mother Care getting some clothes for the baby we decided to go a neutral colour because we didn't know the gender.
I was flicking through the catalogue and picking out all the stuff that we needed. I watched Jaden running around picking clothes. He was so excited to be a brother and I was excited for him. He was throwing toys and soft blankets into the trolley and Jay was doing the exact same.
We left the store with way more than we intended, I placed the order for the bottles and other stuff we needed and we headed home.
We were walking back to the car when I heard it. "Simran" I turned around and saw Nathan.
"Hey, I haven't seen you in ages" I hugged him and Jay cleared his throat. "Sorry Jay this is Nathan we were friends in High School and Nathan this my husband Jay and my son Jaden"
"Nice family you got here how's the shop" he smiled
“It’s great how are you”
“I’m good we need to catch up” I nodded and Jay took my hand.
"Babe we need to go"
"Come down one day, I will see you later Bye" we got in the car and Jay huffed.
"Awe is my hubby jealous" I pecked his cheek he looked hot when he was jealous.
"Ew mommy" Jaden covered his eyes.
"I'm not jealous, I just don't like guys hugging my wife" he stuck his tongue out. I laughed and he started driving.
The next few months passed by, Jay and I were closer than ever. We had finally fixed the rest of the nursery and finished buying everything we needed. I was so excited.
Today was the day, I was in labour for hours, our little baby was making us wait a long while but it was worth it.
Our beautiful baby boy arrived and Jaden loved his little brother so much, we named him Jason. Our family was stronger than ever and I knew I loved my family more than the world and I would do anything for them.
I watched Jaden play with his little brother and Jay came beside me "So how many more do you want, I'm thinking my own football team" I wacked him.
"I want a little girl next so I can dress her in nice little dresses ad plait her hair" he picked me up and took me up to bed
"No, not yet I want to wait a bit" I moaned when he kissed my neck. Oh god this man was going to be the death of me.
Watching Jay and Jayden play with Jason was like a dream come true. Regardless of whether I gave birth to Jayden or not he was always going to be my first child. He ran over to me holding a little bunny.
“Mommy this is my bunny, can I give it to Jason please” I nodded and he ran back over to them he put the bunny next to Jason and I smiled he was such a good baby. They were going to be the best of brothers and I knew my family was complete.
