Chapter 24 - Skye
I am not sure where I am, looks like a maze and that I need to find my way out. At one turn I see Tommy, I start crying so I make another turn to move away from him. I realize I am looking for something or someone but who I’m not sure, my heart is telling me something is missing from it. Then I hear voices their talking about me but I’m not sure who the voice belongs to, their male voices and before I can figure it out I’m drawn back into the darkness. Jess The nurses have been coming in every hour to check Skye’s vitals and to decrease her medication a little more each time, the current nurse lets me know that they have stopped the medication keeping her in a coma and now it’s up to her to wake up. “Thank you.” Is all I manage to say and resume my place beside her bed with her hand
