Chapter 26 - Skye
The light is hurting my eyes, so I instantly close them again and open them slow this time. Once my eyes adjust, I peek over to my right hand to determine why it seems so heavy and numb. I understand why it feels very heavy right away and smile to myself at the sight before me. The most handsome man is holding my hand and must have fallen asleep. His head is on my hand, his glasses are still on his face and just for a selfish moment, I just take in all his features and run my free hand through his hair which is so soft and silky. I realize we have a lot to talk about and work through, but I need to let him know I love him, that I missed him so much and I need him in my life. "Jess... Jess Honey, I need to move my hand." I feel bad for waking him up, but my hand is really hurting; Jes
