THE BLOOD, THE SILENCE, THE RETURN LILA POV “I regret forcing you to go to the party, Elara,” I said. “I would have respected your decision”. My cries grew quiet and unsteady. "I didn't believe things to be this way. Finally we got to the city, I noticed that the dusty roads teemed with activity. People were setting up shops while delivery trucks were unloading goods. In the distance, I could hear the faint tunes of music which seemed to be coming from a party that had yet to finish. Although that was all quite unique, at this very moment, I had one goal. Scanning my environment, I was searching for Elara. I spotted two men wearing dark blue uniforms which were navy at the very least. They were standing beside a black gate next to a tall building. Nina and I quickly walked over.
